Risk-Based Inspection Training: RBI the Game™
RBI the Game™, developed and facilitated by Cognascents Consulting, transforms traditional Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) training into a dynamic, hands-on experience. This in-person course integrates the principles of API Recommended Practice 580 with an engaging, team-based game that mirrors the real-world challenges faced by plant personnel.
Through interactive gameplay, participants will engage in realistic scenarios, working in teams to allocate limited resources to prevent equipment failure and mitigate associated risks. By simulating the decision-making processes involved in risk management, the interactive nature of RBI the Game™ promotes cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and a deeper understanding of API 580 RBI concepts.
